UNRISK students attend 6th National Climate Impact, Risk and Adaptation Meeting

UNRISK students Dylan Dearnaley and Ella Thomas presented posters at the 6th National Climate Impact, Risk and Adaptation Meeting, held in Leeds on 8/9 September, at Cloth Hall Court.

Dylan’s poster was entitled: “Rainfall, ground movement and landslides: the implications of climate change for the UK rail network”.

Ella’s poster was entitled: “Future changes to African easterly waves and West African rainfall extremes in an ensemble of convection-permitting pan-African simulations”.

CDT manager James Mckay also presented a new poster for UNRISK representing multiple PhD projects as a graphic explainer.
